OAK TREES
Trees that have been cut from oak trees to produce shiitake mushrooms for three to four years become stag beetle breeding products. The wood is soft and the wick is thin, so female stag beetles like to spawn.
BREEDING STAGBEETLES
If stagbeetle larvae can be raised from fermented oak sawdust, and if they are raised from oak sawdust where hyphae spread, females will become large-sized stag beetle adults 10 months to 1 year and males 1 year to 18 months. Low temperature breeding is recommended.
